You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

"That's it, boy-o. Imma gonna FILTER your ass via proxy!" could, in theory, come out of my fingers.

And this is exactly why you must be stopped. Because now I have a disturbing visual of your fingers filtering Sean's ass. And from there the next step is bound to be Henry Kissinger's ass. There's no way this can end well. It's a slippery ass slope indeed.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I think that making an automatic warning out of this is the first step down a very slippery slope.

I agree with this, but with the direction that the conversation is going, I think it should be underlined that taunting someone with the filter may be demonlike behavior. Context is critical.

What is even happening?

I'ma filter Kissinger and his ass.

NNNNNOOOOOOOO! Or, possibly, I am vindicated. Go me!

hip deep in pie

I don't think joking about it should be a stompable thing, but I think it needs to be discouraged, like natter in this thread.

I do think we need some caveat about plonking or taunting, even if it isn't codified as a warnable ofence.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I agree with ND and Plei. Also (especially) Billytea about Kissinger's ass. I think context is very important. People know Sean, ND, Joe, and I tease each other. Sooner or later, that might include filtering taunts. Just the way it is.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

We wouldn't stomp you for that, MM. We'd just stomp you 'cause it's fun...

I'm telling you, DX is a stomping, maniacl despot, and needs to be stopped at all costs!

And I must say, I feel special being the specific example chosen by just about everybody above for mock-filtering. I'm gettin' all weepy, here...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I was going to say something about that.

pats Sean reassuringly

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I'm gettin' all weepy, here...

If you'd stop being a whiny little bitch, we might not want to filter you so bad.

Woh-pah!

Jeez, MM sure is mean. I was just gonna call Sean a cry baby.
