I think the light cast from my Treo would really anger the other patrons in the theatre if I tried to Watch and Post though.
If you set it for red text on a black background it would be less bothersome to others, plus it would screw up your night vision much less too.
The web browser in the Treo doesn't seem to have enough control to override the standard board colors. I suppose I could telnet into a server and then post to the board using lynx.
You could be the one-man W&P chronicling your on-the-scene thoughts and impressions for all Buffistaland to enjoy.
Or you could be all selfish, and watch the movie for your own entertainment.
I just got the following quote in the quote generator:
Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor: Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?'Salvage'
The colon after Connor's name is unnecessary (and a little confusing, if you don't know how to parse the exchange).
Fixed.
We should probably post a warning in Press that Thar Be Spoilers, just in case people don't read the slugs. (Like me!)
Some people-- ok, me-- just mindlessly hit Read New and don't see slugs or bureau or press or whatever. So it may be helpful to set out a big fonted & bolded warning in thread before the first movie post.
Out of curiosit, is that linguistics study thingie we set up a while back still going? The one where some of the threads were being fed into a system to study language use on the net?
connie, iirc that was an archive dump rather than an ongoing thing.
