Not sure where to post this.
Is there some way we can designate a "check in safely, post news about yourself and family and friends" place on the board for people in Katrina's path? For those of us who only do one or two threads, it's scary as hell not knowing.
Or, if there already is a place for it, can we post it in Press? It seems to me to be a boardwide service.
Deb, I'd probably post news like that in Beep Me. Possibly Press.
-t posted in either Beep Me or Press to say she was safe.
Apocalypse is the right place, ironically enough.
Deb, so far, Dana's parents and relatives have evacuated, and are safe, but she's concerned for their home. -t and her dh are safe. Heather's people are safe. beth has family in Biloxi that haven't left, but her mom's been in contact with them. I think that's it for our people with loved ones in the area.
OK, cool. I knew Dana's family was in NOLA, and I saw beth and Matt yesterday and got an update. If everyone's covered, end of major worry issue over here.
Thanks, all.
I just noticed - only 88 posts to go in the music thread. That could take a week, or an afternoon.
Any thoughts on titles?
X-posted in the music thread itself.
Three is a Magic Number
(sorry--I don't even post in that thread, I'm just a Schoolhouse Rock junkie)
Put Another Nickel In.
