"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And beagles. Damnit.

Oh, cool. I've wanted a place to talk about Charles Shultz.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Actually, that would make a pretty good title for this thread. IJS.

I want to tell P-C et al that there shall be no Angel or Firefly discussion in the Minear thread. But that's really only because I haven't been keeping up with Minear given my limited time on board. And because it's all about me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And because it's all about me.

And the beagles. Never forget the beagles.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Okay, here's a question: Where do archived threads get archived to?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

In the right column of the main page, below COMM, Mejiaville, etc., is a link for Archives.

Ah! Thank you.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I wrote the description, and it's a thread dedicated to his work.

Okies. Why I asked.

Also?

I can't see braking it working.

This is true.

I love this.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

A post only occupies a point in time. A point in time has no duration. We are not lurkers in the time that a post happens, but since a post has no duration, we are all lurkers, all the time.

Duuuuude ...

Titlewise, the first thing I thought of was 'Why can't I stay', gunning for the maudlin. I quite like the other too, and given it's emerging role as the Great Consensus Maker, don't want to mess with it for fear of it's eerie power.

Disaffected college student

I would only hope it could be "are we done" rather than "am I done". Thread titles ought to have plural personal pronouns if they have any at all, IMHO.
