I'm cool with it as it's easy to scroll over if I'm un-interested. And while I didn't take Amazon up on any of the deals, it reminded me that we have affiliates, so my next Powell's order will be via here.

Deals-posting doesn't bug me in the least--except that it reminds me that I shouldn't be shopping online with my income.
I'm good with it, and, yeah, it reminds me about the affiliate links, which is a plus. Nice of you to do, Jesse, thanks.
If it's not too much effort, I'd like to keep seeing the sale thingies. I tend to forget that there are affiliate links. so it's nice to have the gentle poking periodically. And I like deals.I am with -t on this.
Nice of you to do, Jesse, thanks. And JenP also.
It's a quick scroll past and if it reminds me to use the affiliate link, well we all win really.
Can I get a Stompy to change me from Raquel to Raq? Pretty please?
It is done.
Thanks Jon
Nice Raq, there.
Too bad we can't have little dots to click at the top of the posting box that would insert a box with the show we are writing about just above one's post.
SG1, SGA, Smallville, Due South, Farscape, BSG, Other, etc.
Then one could easily skip over posts that say [SGA], for example.
Just a musing, not an actual proposal at this time.
Actually, I don't think I like that idea. One of the things about this board is that you are forced to view, even just in passing, all the posts in a thread (except those of a poster you've blocked, of course). The posts on Stargate SG-1 actually helped get me into watching the show, and if I'd just read Boxed Set posts relating to Farscape, I'd have missed all that.
It's part of the community experience to have to scroll past stuff you don't think you're interested in; changing it the way you describe makes each post more of a blog post with tags, rather than part of an ongoing discussion with the other people in the thread.
