What is even happening?

Jesse, I lost track of the discussion. How often were you thinking of doing it?

eta...

Never mind. I was looking the wrong place. The mention was in Press, and you said weekly.

That's 52 times a year you'd post in Press. I don't know. To me, that's not something that's going to have a negative impact on my reading of Press, and the links are something I would use, in theory.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, the emails come once a week, I think? I don't pay that much attention, honestly.

Sorry, I edited when I should have posted a new message, I think. One post a week certainly doesn't pose a burden for me personally. In truth, most Press posts aren't newsworthy to me personally. At least these are something I might use, and that use would benefit the board.

Up with the sun

I have no problem with one post a week in press -- it doesn't seem like a burden to me to scroll past.

Any way to post a deals page under one link?

jesse, skipping it might be fine because it shouldn't become a giant burden for you and if most people aren't doing anything about it, then does it serve a purpose?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We have been making ~$30-$40 bucks a quarter off the affiliate links, so that's not nothing.

But, Jesse, is that for the deals?

My mistake, I should have clarified.

If posting the special offers means having to have multiple posts or having to create a single external link or whatever, are the posting of the deals themselves worth the effort? Not the general affiliate links.

Oh, right, I know. I'm just saying, somebody's shopping Amazon, so why not let them know what's on sale. I don't know if it's worth the effort, but it's not all that much effort.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If it's not too much effort, I'd like to keep seeing the sale thingies. I tend to forget that there are affiliate links. so it's nice to have the gentle poking periodically. And I like deals.
