Shit's all sorts of different now.

Just a question re: the last discussion, was the biggest argument for Sang Sacre?

(I have no care on eway or another - since I had the baby almost nothing irritates me except work - I'm just curious)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hate them. multiple log-ins should only be for that thread with the role-playing thing.

Sang Sacre - What Aimee said.

If I only had a brain...

Historically, we've encouraged people to use real names, but that's withered as the Internet got waaaaaay too crowded. I would like to propose that we expect people to use precisely one name; pick a pseud, if you must, but stick to it.

So. Formal proposal: Add to Buffista etiquette the following: "One account per customer. Please don't set up multiple accounts under different names. Anybody showing up as a concept or any other abstract noun will be asked to prove it."

Not sure I agree, but I Second the Proposal.

And I second. (Knowing full well that it might fuck up Sang Sacre in ways that might make some people angry. That's why we have Lightbulbs.)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

This is a problem? Am I not paying attention again?

If I only had a brain...

It's happening mostly in Bitches, I think.

Also, that doesn't include name changes for work purposes or changes to a RL name for those who become comfortable using it, righteo?

It's the same account with a name change on it, yes?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I second it also, although I don't care if someone shows up as an abstract noun. As long as it's a one to one mapping.

When someone's ducking under the radar (like vw did) or even constructing a Sang Sacre character, I don't care.

In fact, I'd also suggest a Sang Sacre exclusion, but the thread's been quiet for a while anyway. Still, it is neater that way in my head.

A Sang Sacre exclusion makes perfect sense to me; I just didn't think of it because I never bleed holy.

Also, Allyson, yes, you can still change your name; it's the single-account part that's important and if we get enough suggestions to make it to lightbulbs, I'll clarify that.
