I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A copy of the code and the user database, I'm guessing. And the database will need to be periodically manually refreshed from the master one.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Right, and to make things easy, we could point buffistas.com at it.

I'll need to check the referrer logs, to see how many users we have coming in from buffistas.com to org. Though, we could still have .com bounce to .org unless case of emergency and all that. But that means Tom or I (as things stand) would need to be the ones to break the glass.

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

Gus pointed out over in Firefly that we're just a little over 100 posts from the end of that thread. One suggestion is "Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains" originally suggested by Allyson here

Allyson "Firefly 3: Too Damned Pretty to Die" Dec 1, 2004 11:30:15 am PST

and then modified by tommyrot to add the "Also" here

tommyrot "Firefly 3: Too Damned Pretty to Die" Dec 1, 2004 1:37:21 pm PST

Just wanted to say I vote for it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

On the code issue, I think programming-savvy stompies such as DX, amych, Plei, and most especially ita and Tom should have the final word. You're the best judges of how lending/leasing it out would impact your workloads. I really think it's the code/content mix that's essentially the Phoenix Board; I have no problems with other approved groups using the same format if you guys are willing to share your hard work.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Firefly 4: Pound the button, we'll come.

Firefly 4: Waiting for the button.

Firefly 4: There'll be poems and songs, just you wait.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

As one who hasn't worked on the board's guts, as ita, Jon, and Tom go, so goes my nation.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Firefly 4: Pound the button, we'll come.

Firefly 4: Waiting for the button.

These kill me. I still tear up when I think about the damn button.

Compassionately intolerant

I love 'we'll come' for a thread during the ramp up frenzy before the bdm.

Also? works for me now.

Or:

Firefly 4: Take me Sir. Take me hard.

Especially when you find out Tudyk stole it and sent it to Joss and told him to use it when he needed them.
