Up with the sun

You can post comments anonymously, but I don't think you can make community entries without a registration.

I think it would probably work as a contingency plan for a day or so. Registration is free, so I agree that it wouldn't be that different from joining Peoplesforum or WX.

hip deep in pie

I don't think LJ is really a viable contingency. Long comments threads are meddening to navigate, and I think the threadedness would drive us mad. It might work for announcements, but not for regular posting.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Agree with Sue - and the anonymous posting bit could make it even harder to follow.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think Lance needs more than a cluesticking. I actually think he needs an asskicking. Talk about hard-headed. Good grief.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Natter is closing in on 10,000. I don't really give a hoot about the specific title, but I'm requesting less....salty titles. Profanity in posts is no big deal (given how often I use it), but thread titles are HUGE font, and they're pretty noticeable at, say, work. So if we could keep the thread titles work-friendly, I'd be grateful.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I suppose you'll be wanting the whole day off for Christmas, as well...

What is even happening?

I'm with Teppy. Ben reads. Julia is sounding things out, and Chris, the little goober, has learned to rea--basically spontaneously, at age 4.

I unsubbed from B*tches (Spuh-icks buh-it-ka-hees) a while back, for this reason, in case I leave the message center open. To get there, I have to go to the main menu page, uphill, both ways, barefoot, in the snow.

(This is in no way a request to change the name of the Spuh-icks buh-it-ka-hees thread (I'd cry if we did). Just a note that while it's one thing to not subscribe to one thread I read to keep it off the message center page, it starts to get cumbersome and I'll just shut up now, but yeah, what Teppy said.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

In a nod to our roots, may I suggest:

Natter 31: Passing By WX.

Since we only got to Natter XXX there.

Um, Fred...

Natter 31: "Yep. Still here."
