Thank you, le nubian. As noted, the ballot was plenty good enough for people to get what they really wanted. There was a definite preference expressed, and it was a tricky juggle all the way through. I really appreciate the time and conscientous effort you put into it.
And now you also know why I was laughing and compared thread proposal to volunteering for the bake sale of doom.
Some of the FAQ language about spoilers is going to need to be reworked.
Tom, I was just gonna post a link to that. I find it really interesting, and I wonder how he would view our system here. It's worked so far, but I think it's possible it could crumble under the weight of lots of flaming.

Correct. I don't know Chinese either, but I have a half-Chinese friend, as well as an acquaintance who actually went by Mei Mei.
