We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Buffistas är verkligen en guldgruva!

Heee! I love it.

Although I'm so stupid I didn't realize it was Swedish, I thought it was German. Sigh.

t unsophisticated and that tag never closes, I fear

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I still think an all white-font thread will get frustrating, but I'd be willing to give it a shot since it does seem like people are missing discussions they want. (Lost and Veronica Mars are both still sitting on my hard drive waiting to be watched, so I don't know yet whether those people include me.)

Could we say whitefont until the next ep airs? That seems like it would be managable to me. That way the time shifters among us can at least figure whether it's safe to enter or not without too much difficulty.

Up with the sun

Bites bullet, prays social capital doesn't immediately go into the red.

Here's a proposal:

1. That to reduce server load, Angel Spoilers, Previously, and Angel Quotables be closed and archived as soon as is feasible;

2. That the Buffistas hold a poll to see which, if any, TV shows have sufficient poster interest to deserve a thread. The format of the poll and number/percentage of votes needed to determine "sufficent interest" will be decided through discussion, as will the upper limit on the number of threads we can create.

3. That threads are then started for the shows identified as being of high interest through polling and discussion. If the selected shows include ones not currently on the air, such as "The O.C." or "Alias," thread-starting may be delayed until the season premiere if such seems appropriate.

4. To limit thread sprawl, all threads created through this measure will be closed if the shows they are devoted to are canceled during this TV season, unless a compelling argument to keep the thread open exists.

I won't be around much for the rest of the workday, but I'll be able to discuss this in lightbulbs this evening, if it makes it there. This is very much a draft, and I'm hoping to flesh it out through discussion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seconded.

I'm not convinced it's a good idea, but what the hey.

Visilurking

Fifthed. (Not sure it's necessary either, but discussing it can't hurt. Can it?)
