I like the current system (the one *I* was following, in my head) quite a bit (which is kinda why I was following it).
Me too.

I like it too, for the reasons stated by others.
I'm very opposed to current seasons of everything becoming okay in Natter. Not just because Jars and Am Chau could ruin us all for MI-5. It just ain't right.
Everything in black font, white font, or any font at all? In other words, given your druthers, would we forbid the white font conversations we've been having?
Right. The current system (whitefont in Natter) isn't broke, and does not need fixing.
I don't think that the current system is formally written down anyplace, however, which might be where the problem lies.
Well, there were all these people who don't get a blank screen when stuff is whitefonted -- which is why we really had to stop the whitefont, isn't it?
Just curious, but is there anyone who still has this problem?

I don't think the current system exists, exactly. I mean, sumi's been going on a two-week, and I've been going on 52 weeks.
Whatever the period is (and I am obviously biased), just yell and I'll drop it into the description.

All our Lynx users may have gone away, but they did exist at the start of the Phoenix board.
If I'm reading on the Treo, there's no such thing as whitefont. But I see that as my option and not something that needs to be accomodated.
Blackberry does a greyfont -- easy enough to notice and skim. Not perfect, but usable.
Interesting. So even though Lynx has pretty much gone the way of pulse dialing, mobile internet isn't white-font friendly either.
