It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Yes, or House Right.

I always think of them as the Eastern threads.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

They're the conservative threads.

I never could keep house directions straight. Stage, I was fine. But house I could never remember. Though, working from the spot booth, you'd think I wouldn't have a problem.

Heh, yeah... it took me a while to get used to it, but both of them are relative to the direction you'd face if you were there - as stage direction is relative to being onstage facing the audience, audience direction is relative to being in the audience, facing the stage. Thus, if you're in the booth, audience right is your right.

Yup. Which you'd think I'd be able to remember since it's the same. But no.

My problem was always the opposite.... remembering the stage directions when sitting in the booth.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Who are our Chicago-area Buffistas?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

RIO, erinaceous, ChiKat, Kathy Astrom, tommyrot, aurelia, sumi, and kalshane for starters.

Nice, thanks. Is there a mailing list?

Edit: And does anyone have contact info for ChiKat, erin, rio, kalshane, or knut? I can't find anything in Natter or the other threads I've searched.
