What is even happening?

Thank you, P-C.

Trust my rage

I already posted my support for what ita said over in the thread, but thought I'd add to the B.C. over here.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sounds good to me, as well.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I agree - newcomers and opening-credited cast are not spoilers. Mentioning that Niska shows up (this is just a hypothetical), or the actor even, is a big old spoiler.

eta, what about ME cast members who've never been on Firefly? If JM or DB shows up, I think that's more spoiler-ish, even if they're playing new characters.

IMO? Not a spoiler. I don't see the difference between a former ME cast member and some other guy that Buffistas have the hots for.

Speaking as a spoilerphobe, I wouldn't consider that spoilery. I'm satisfied with the definition worked out in the thread. And now I'm all anxious for the movie again.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just noticed the Literary slug:

Discussion of non-Jossverse books, comic books, poems and the like.

Since comics have their own thread now, do we want to take them out of Literary?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We could have been talking comic books in Literary the whole time? Dammit.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Yeah, when I started the Literary thread over on WXing, I envisioned comics to be part of the discussion. But when Joss transitioned from TV to comics--what with the BtVS comics and X-Men--there was a sort of... gravity... that drew comic discussion to Jossverse.

On the whole, though, I can't say I've minded it. Whatever works, y'know?
