I think, per the Rules, we should limit discussion to four days. Since you made the proposal, and you would rather wait until Monday or Tuesday, we should wait.

In that case, I think we should open the thread on Monday, and I'll have a proposal ready by then. In the interim, I would ask (like others have indicated) that folks not debate the merits of the proposal in this thread.
