A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It wouldn't be spoilery for people participating in the discussion because the folks in the thread would be expected to have read the book or books being discussed.

I think we're saying the same thing, 'cause in my head that's exactly what a spoiler thread is. Anyhoo, I get it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

S'fine with me. I'll be pretty busy with friends and the bar and whatnot.

ETA- I could still discuss even up at the bar because as I said yesterday in my scotch and Jager induced entusiasm "WE ARE WIRELESS!!!"

I will be your fourth second.. I will note in the dicsussion, however, that it seem entirely possible to have this club within the existing literary thread, and thus avoid thread proliferation if that is an issue. Those who are spoiler-phobic could unsubscribe for a week, we could whitefont, or whatever. It wouldn't have to be a new thread.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

We could probably hash all that out during a lightbulb discussion.

Thanks flea. Will discuss your points in LB. So should we open LB now, or wait until after the holiday?

Thrive to spite them

I suggest waiting until after the holiday-- I know I'm leaving tonight and won't be back until Monday night.

Yeah. We should probably wait.

You writing up the proposal Wolfram?

I'm good with waiting until Monday or Tuesday, since I'll be unavailable tonight and most of tomorrow. But if folks want to start discussing without me in LB I'm fine with that too.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I led you astray, Wolfram! I can't decide whether to apologise or twirl my moustache.

You writing up the proposal Wolfram?

I can, unless someone else wants to do it.
