Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?

Light spoilers for SOME, miniature American flags for ALL! t /Kang
There is also the (potential for) the animated series (I will believe it when it's on my TiVo. Like the actual program, not the "it's gonna be on". Because you can get burned on that criteria.) So, we could spoil lite that t runs away quickly
An idea which has garnered some support in Literary is for us to create a Book Club thread. The thread would be for discussion of a specific assigned book or books to be rotated on an agreed upon time period. I'm officially proposing this thread.
Second.
Thirded
Fourth. Fourthed? I second it again.
How would it be different from the literary thread? Would it be sorta like a spoiler thread for one specific book at a time?

No, it would be more like a show thread where people who've seen that specific show come in to discuss it, as opposed to a general tv thread where all tv is talked about. It wouldn't be spoilery for people participating in the discussion because the folks in the thread would be expected to have read the book or books being discussed.
More or less. There's a perception that the lit thread as it stands really functions more as a rec thread (and it's much appreciated for that) but is not as hospitable for focussed discussion of individual books, both because of a perceived resisitance or disinterest, but also because of the fact that we're not all reading or thinking about the same things at the same time.
But this discussion should go in LB, I guess.
Can I ask that we make sure to let the discussion continue well past the holiday (including the 5th, which many of us have off), says she, about to hit the road to a place of uncertain access.
