The easiest way to deal with the problem is to go in and prevent non-subscribers from posting to the list.
Is that already a switch on the listserv software? Make it so!

Is the virus problem fixed? I'll resubscribe if it is. I just can't have viruses on this laptop because I use it on the school network as well as at home, and they already are suspicious of me bringing in "my own outside equipment" into the network.

The virus was just microsoft, right? If I'm on an iMac, I'm OK? I got one item I thought was the virus, but I deleted and emptied without opening it (though it did get previewed).
