I'm personally enamoured of the Lady Shiva, curled up between Plei's feet on the beanbag, poking her head out.
I love that one too. Did you notice the title I gave it?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Cutehead!!!!
Annabel was so damned cute in the strawberry, I nearly choked.
I really wanted to swipe Shiva from the Marcontells. She was beyond adorable.

OMGCUTEBABY!!!
Also, I should have taken more pictures of Juliana, who is quite possibly the most gorgeous person ever to have existed.
Yes, yes she is. She is now added to my list of people that I need to keep in lovely ornamental wrought-iron cages and take out to play dress up with. Pete kept muttering that if he ever had to draw another elf, he needed photos of juliana.
Jess, I love the photo you got of my mom.
strawberry baby SO ADORABLE!
I have now booked a room in the Argent in SF for Thanksgiving night. Yay!
Because I expect traffic up and down the coast to be just dreadful, my plan is to drive part way on Wednesday, and then the rest of the way on Thursday morning. If anyone has a suggestion for a good place to stay between here and there, let me know.
Lee, you're taking 101 up? You could spend the night in Big Sur, and come up the remaining 100 miles or so on Thursday morning.
Ye gods, I have not been here in ages. So is anyone else going to Monterey on Nov. 26? I am in the process of booking a room and need to know (checks clock) in the next 35 minutes, which is when my local lib. appt. expires. This was the only library computer slot open all day. Eeek! I think I'll see if I can book, like, 4 rooms and check back later. Assuming no penalities for cancellation.
I might be going with FAQ girl, but I figured on just driving down for the day. It's just two hours each way.
