I'm still planning to go uncostumed.
Oh, and my church is having a Vespers service Sunday evening at 5:00, in case anyone wants to come hear me sing in the choir. Don't worry--this isn't one of those "alternative to EEEVILLL Halloween" things some churches do. It's more like one of the 3-4 times a year my church stops being casual and gets its liturgy on. And if I do say so myself, we're a pretty good choir, for amateurs. If anyone's interested, there's a couple of places just down the street where we could have dinner afterward.
Do any of the Halloween in Seattle people have (access to) a long hair wig they could lend me? I am dithering over what to wear, since so far I haven't found shoes to go with the geisha outfit. I can borrow another store bought costume, but it needs a long haired wig.
I might. I also have a purple bobbed wig.
I'm going to be pretty uncostumed, FWIW.
Also, about to put a brunch note up in Press.
Susan, wait, that's on Saturday at five? I thought youi were coming to dinner?
I think it's Sunday, Deb.
I'm probably going to be uncostumed, though I kind of like the idea of wearing a wig.
Kewl!
I haven't heard back from the Reasons, the Marcontells, or Lyra Jane, so I'm just going to send the phone list as is out to the board attendees.
Hang on a sec, Deb. My # is incoming.
Edit: I just realized how long ago you posted, so I emailed my # to everyone I had in my address book. If someone didn't get it and weants it, let me know.
The Marcontell's were brunch shopping.
The ONE thing I can state we may need more of for brunch is champagne for mimosas. (Though we've got two bottles of the alcohol free version so that drivers and pregnant women can have mimosas, too.)
Deb, can you email the list to gmail? I can't get to my work addy....
Plei, I'll be happy to provide some bubbly.
Plei, I would be happy to buy some bubbly, if you or Juliana
don't mind stopping for some at some point.
