Do any of the Halloween in Seattle people have (access to) a long hair wig they could lend me? I am dithering over what to wear, since so far I haven't found shoes to go with the geisha outfit. I can borrow another store bought costume, but it needs a long haired wig.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
Honey, all you need are flip flops. That's what I wore.!
Lee, Aimee's right. I even have a pair of geisha-esque flip-flops that you can wear if you like. Well, if your shoe size is around 10. Which I don't think it is. But if it is, you can use 'em.
I haven't even been able to find flip flops that look even vaguely Japanese in my size (which is 11). It sounds like Juliana's might work though.
Also, do you know how to do geisha eyes if I have the makeup?

Traditional geisha eye makeup is merely liner and mascara. You'll need white pancake makeup, black liquid liner, and redred lipstick. And yes, I'll be happy to do your eyes.
Lee- - I've seen pretty large size geta-type shoes at Walmart very recently.
lee, if you have a World Market, I just saw some cheap platform flipflops in an asian style fabric there. i think that they only had up to a 10, but that may have been my store.
She has white Ben-Nye and white setting powder, juliana. We raided Joe's make-up.
And I am buying the lipstick and eye liner today.
eta: Thanks for the Wal-Mart/World market suggestions. I should have time to hit the World market tonight.
Sadly, Joe was out of those.
