F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
Where should we send cell phone info and the like? I'd be happy to take care of it, if none of the other Seattlistas is already doing it.
Happy to handle the cellphone/contact list, over here.
OK, so, let's set up a dinner at Piatti's beforehand, on Saturday. Reading's at half past seven and it's right next door to B&N University Village. Should we say six?
And our very old and good friends Dani and Hove (Pete will remember Dani's two kids; he was, unusually, very impressed and pleased with them both) want to come for dinner. In fact, Dani sent me an email last night, suggesting it.
So, if we can get a show of hands as to whether this works for people, I can send out a group email about Piatti at 6 on Saturday, get a confirmed headcount, and one of the locals can make a reservation.
We get in Friday afternoon and leave Monday, late morning, so we're open for things, although I do want some time on Sunday, an hour or so, to drive around the city with Nic. He hasn't been in years.
Piatti's works for us.
Piatti's works for me.
Deb, I will send you my flight information shortly, along with my cell number.
I'm up for Piatti's.
Here's a web site about the restaurant, in case anyone else wants to check it out before comitting. I also found a few references to it closing soon when I Googled -- hopefully that's after Halloween.
Well, once I have an official or semi-official headcount, someone can call and make sure they'll be open come this Saturday.
Ooooh! This Saturday! 5.5 days!
OK, so I've LJ, and Lee, and juliana and (presumably) Carolyn, and me and Nic and Dani and Hove, and maybe her two sons, who rock. Locals?
Piatti's looks good to me.
If Piatti's doesn't work out, there are other options within the same monster shopping center--none quite as fancy, but decent food.
Susan, were you and Dylan and BabyBel coming to dinner?
