Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Question for Halloween in Seattle people. Are you dressing up in costume for Halloween, or just dressing up in leather/goth/funky?

I'm dressing up, I'm just still dithering between two costumes.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm just going as myself, unless I'm struck by inspiration involving clothes I already own and found objects in my own house.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Isn't the street car right there too? I need a map. Or, what's the cross street?

IIRC, the streetcar goes down Carondolet to Canal, down Cancal, and back up St. Charles. On the other side of Canal, Carondolet is Bourbon, and St. Charles is Royal.

But it's been a long, long time.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There's also the Canal Street streetcar now.

Up with the sun

If you don't usually wear sexy, gothy, or exotic, why do it for the F2F? Just be you.

Because I want to be cool and not look like a dork who gets all her clothes at the Gap Outlet, as per usual? Because I'm basically sick of everything I own, and the trip is giving me an impetus to buy some things that aren't so boring?

I assume you were trying to be nice, and thank you for that, but really -- I WILL be more comfortable if I feel like I look special.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

what time would the meal start?

People start wandering in early afternoon, and continue to wander in until after about 7 pm. It's extremely fluid.

Because I'm basically sick of everything I own, and the trip is giving me an impetus to buy some things that aren't so boring?

See, that? I totally get and applaud.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So, what I'm getting here is that we REALLY need to have a Saturday Morning and Afternoon Fest of SHOPPING!

Because I'm totally down with that. SHOPPING!!!

I may need to get an extra car in there somehow, but we'll figure it out.

PS, BILLYTEA, DID YOU GET MY "E"?

We're still trying to find some buccaneer-style Johnny Deppaliciojs boots for Nic's pirate costume. NOT paying the $300 they're being sold for on ebay, damn it.

That would be awesome.

(I have a leather jacket now. Also, an iPod. Therefore, I'm 90 percent ready.)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

buccaneer-style Johnny Deppaliciojs boots for Nic's pirate costume.

Well, if he's going in part drag, he may as well go all the way. 1) What size are his feet in women's sizes? 2) Can he walk in 4-inch stillettos?

I like shopping!!
