Jayne, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Deb - our normal T-Day plans are assunder this year. I think my mom wants to do something for dinner, but maybe the kids and I could cruise by for dessert?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm starting to think I should dump my family in favor of T'day at Chez Grabien.

You will not be sorry if you do. IJS

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I believe in the dumping of family on major holidays.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Anyone who wants to have dinner here? Is totally welcome.

Anyone who wants to come by for dessert? Is totally welcome.

All I ask is about three or four days advance notice, to make certain there is food for miles.

There always is, or always has been; last year we were augmented by the addition of two steam trays (yes, steam trays), prepped by my daughter's boyfriend's personal chef (yes, personal chef, and the general consensus is that his cooking isn't nearly as good as mine), adding something with yams (I'm allergic, so I don't cook them) and a baked mac and cheese, which made many many people happy.

I'm thinking of adding a harvest tart this year. Yum. But it depends on whether I can fnd tiny tiny champagne grapes.

I'm just saying.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, oh, pick me, pick me! I may be in SF for T'day, if I am not hiding, but either way, you are welcome to come stay with me while you are in LA.

Oh, I don't think I responded to this. Thanks, Lee, I'd be very pleased to stay with you in L.A.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Oh dear, Deb's talking about food again.

Weeps.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

If the election does not turn out the way I hope it does (I can't even type the phrase "____ wins," for fear of jinxing it), I'm very tempted to hop a plane and spend Thanksgiving elsewhere, because my extended family will be unbearable.

Tep, you are more than welcome here. And we're within driving distance! (barely)
