'The Message'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Thrive to spite them

I'm glad New Orleans won, it's close enough to drive and not be really long.

I'm getting the pig!

I obviously didn't send Fred Pete enough money.

Darn it. So close.

Oh, hee, I just got the color choice. Excellent.

Big thanks to everyone who did all the research for all of the cities, and the organizing, and the vote setting up and counting, and everything else. It was (genuinely) hard to choose! And I would have been happy for any one of them to win.

Eight months in advance with a city and the dates. That's just ... impressive.

I vogted for KC, but New Orleans was my second choice. YAY.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I know it isn't the right time of year, Jen, but I had to.

(To those wondering: Purple, gold, and green are the traditional colors of Mardi Gras.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I was kind of hoping for Minneapolis. But I won't be able to make it anyway, so yay NO!

Our wings are not tired

Awesome. F2F 2005 New Orleans.

Just popping in here to say that things are going great on the planning for the F2F but we're not done yet. Here's the next milestone. We need to look at all of our possible hotel sites and I'd really like to have our hotel chosen by the end of October and contracts with them signed by early November. We're in the home stretch now!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's been said before, but YAY!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei et al, I will be in Seattle.

I hope to make my reservations today. I plan on flying in Friday afternoon/night, and leaving Sumday night. I will probably be staying at the Courtyard Marriot. If it works better for me to do something else, please let me know.
