Who was the real power? The Captain? or Tenille?

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Damn, she didn't get to see more of Boston?

We were only allotted one day.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I guess it is a mileage varying issue. Everywhere I've worked in the city has been downtown, and there was tons of history there -- I can think of tons of stuff just in the few blocks around City Hall, which is also where some of the most modern stuff was. Plus, stuff like the parts of the old fort in Central Park, and Wall Street, and so many places where you can see little bits of the whole history of the city -- not just "this stuff is old, and this stuff is new," but "this stuff has been here for awhile, and this part got added a little while after it was built, and then that thing over there changed, and then people needed this thing so they built it, and over there you can see where that other thing was knocked down, but they left part of it and built this other thing into it," and so on. I love it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We were only allotted one day.

And what did you do with that one day?

Took her to see the hoo-hah's of cave trolls.

I had to drag her out.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I can't wait for Nilly's reaction when she reads this thread.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Kate's the only Buffista that let me cut her hair. (Excluding JZ's current bob.) Though it must be noted Kate's beautiful with lots of hair, or a buzzcut, or any of the variations in between.

I knew I could count on you, David. *mwah*

But for Bec's birthday, I did order a packet of both the TMTT and the Kahlua Slice. And the KS is better. I can say this because of a survey I did.

billytea, your survey is incomplete. I know this because you failed to send me any Tim Tams of either flavor for outside verification.

And I love Boston, but it's hard for me to be objective about it because I grew up there. I will note that until this past weekend, I thought I really disliked New York, and I have been proven thoroughly wrong on that account.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I spoiled her for some of it. She said she had much to write.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

You know what else is dripping with history? New Orleans.

Kate, I completely understand what you mean. I'd been dozens and dozens of time throughout my childhood and adult life, yet until last summer, I never "got" New York. Now, I just love it.

I do still love Boston more, but I adore New York.
