Oh, those pictures with the Jayne hats ... perfect! And, Anne, again - those hats are awesome. You are gooooood.

Got to spend an absolutely wonderful day with Hil, Sue, an Nilly in DC and then dinner with everyone. Spectacular. I'll have pictures posted by the weekend, but have to do it the old fashioned way, wherein I request a picture CD when I get the film developed.

I'll add to the chorus of Nilly being just so much fun to be around. So many amazing adjectives to describe her, and yet, the Nilliest really emcompasses it all. And now I have so much more of an appreciation of what that means. Lucky, I am. And dinner? So much fun. The stories, the laughing, the ... frightened patrons.

And MFNlaw is the most gracious of people, too. IJS. Thanks for all the driving.

Picture I'm most looking forward to seeing from my roll? Nilly sitting in Einstein's (the sculpture) lap. It was perfect. Er, well, we took a lot of pictures of various combinaitons there. Just warning you ...

What an awesome thing, in so many ways, the Nillytour is (technically, it's still happening, because she's still in the sky).

Who? moi??

My Nilly pictures refuse to download. Also my pictures of the South Cats and the lionette, Chino.

I am soooo annoyed at Service Pac 2. It has entirely messed up every program on my 'puter.

I am loving the Nilly stories. I told her she was the most gracious person I had ever met and I swear she blushed. She said that was the nicest thing anyone had ever told her. As was said upstream, she is a very good liar.

I wish I could have had more time with her. Don't we all?

I wish Nilly was an American citizen. 'Cause when she turns 35? I want to nominate her to run for President. She's kind and caring, stalwart, determined, dignified (yet fun-loving and mischievous) and very, very diplomatic. And I hope-hope-hope that she can come back to visit us again someday. Like, the day the Big Damn Movie opens would be too cool.

What is even happening?

Nilly is far too intelligent (sorry Bill) to be President in the U.S.

And the people's exhibit A is...

Maybe we should add an IQ requirement along with the minimum age requirement. G-d knows, after Dubya it's pretty much going to be a given.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Jayne hats

Who made the Jayne hats? I hereby put in an order for 3 of them. One in teeny tiny baby size. (Emma's middle name will be Jayne)
