he either is okay with weird or has a great poker face.
He's okay with weird. He'd probably be an avid gamer himself if he'd gotten into it when he was younger.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

That's cool. You know, I had a a weird cognitive dissonance moment (or what my buddies and I called "buzz-click" before we knew the fancy term) when you wrote "my RL SF/gamer pals". The internet, games, SF and Buffistas all live in a certain portion of my brain and the in-between lines went all melty for a moment there. I could probably be more coherent about this some other time, but today "melty" is all I got.
Does your bro have monogrammed towels?
Nope. Not yet. But I fear that is next.
It's the colouring of the stack for guests that's wack, right, not its existence?
Yeah, mostly. Although, if you grew up with my brother, you’d be surprised at both.
Dave has enjoyed meeting everyone, but to tell you the truth, most of my offline friends are very similar to my online ones...so basically he thinks all my friends are weird and fun.
My friends bring out his inner weirdo.

Considering who he works with...
No argument here, though he would say he gets paid to hang out with them.

Timelies! just got out of a staff meeting (shudder).
As to how people relate to Buffistas en masse ... at the DC F2F we had people poking their heads in and asking wistfully if they could join. We were having fun ... the church groups? NSM.

Well there was the one guy who freaked out and left the elevator when he saw me board it wearing a leather kilt.
Well, it *was* tucked into your pantyhose.
Everyone knows you don't wear pantyhose with a leather kilt. That's a stockings and garters item.
