That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Nilly is in DC, she got on the train from NYC to DC last night. She is in daily contact with people via email, but has not been reading this board during the trip, so I seriously doubt she would come to comment.

Let me just say that popularity with people on public transportation does not equal literary respect. --Jesse

Yep, I know she's safely in DC. Not looking for her commentary; I just wanted to make sure she's aware and in touch at home (though it sounds like she's very regularly in touch with her family while she's been here). I know sometimes when you're travelling, particularly abroad, it can be easy not to see the news.

What is even happening?

I'm not certain, but I don't think that is Nilly's city. Still, how heartbreaking and frightening.

It's not; I think she's from Tel Aviv. Beer Sheva is south of there.

yes Jess Nilly is from near Tel-aviv but lots of members from her family live in Beer-sheva and i shurly very much hope that everyone is o.k.

Compassionately intolerant

That is a blessing.

I am so glad, Tal. I know this is something you live with in a way that is completely alien to a lot of us, and that we can never truly understand. I am sorry our world is so violent. I think about my children, and just want to put them (and everyone else's children, too) in a well padded box, sometimes.

Thanks for the information Tal. I'm glad to hear your family is safe; I hope Nilly's is as well.
