You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

How the hell much did you pay for Lion King tickets?

$100 a pop for row P. (Balcony seats start at $40.)

Word from a DCista - do not let Nilly drink the tap water in DC. Visitors, I'd advise the same. Really.

I live in LA. It's been almost six years since It's even occured to me to drink tap water. The idea seems a little vile, actually.

Oh, and I so very badly want to meet Cindy in person. I really must find a way to get to Boston soon.

Art Crawl!!!

It's because DC was built on a swamp, right?

DC's having a bit of a crisis re: lead in the water.

Lead, nothing. We had a cryptosporidium (sp?) scare a few years ago and then I had a series of urinary tract infections ... which went away when I switched to bottled water. I really don't advise drinking what comes out of the tap - honestly.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I love my Chicago Lake Michigan tap water--we actually have decent filtration (most of the time), and it tastes really yummy. Yes, it's harder than the proverbial rock, and if you have shower doors you can't see through them without scraping off all the scaley hardwater buildup, but I miss my water when I go to the East Coast.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

New Orleans tap water wins taste tests. And it's very soft.

This opinion has very little to do with my current temporary employment with the NO Sewage and Water Board.

Reason 536 to have F2F 05 in NO - you can drink the water right out of the tap. Handy for hangovers.
