Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

De la Guarda sounds more...invasive.

There's a reason there's a fourth wall, perform-y people! Stay behind it!

::shudder:: Suffice it to say, if I won't even do the OMWF singalong with people I really like, I'm filled with magnitudes of Ick at the idea of a theatrical event where I'm mauled in public, and expected to pay for it rather than file charges. Ack.

Having said that, knowing that someone will pop up and post that their mother is in De la Guarda -- I don't give a fig if others go see it. Nor do I judge them for wanting to see it. It's just not my cuppa.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As far as I know, it really is only a few people in the audience who get the heavy interaction, so it would be easy to avoid.

So, basically, if I come up this weekend to see Nilly, I'll get to see her for Sunday brunch?

And Sunday afternoon activities, too. But yeah, she's out of pocket until at least 9:30 or something Saturday night.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'm undecided yet on whether or not to go to De La Guarda.

You can come over to my apartment and shudder in horror with me, BT.

Jess, if this is an open invitation, I may take you up on it. [Edit: if you were just being facetious, please feel free to say so, and I'll go to the show or find something else to do.]

Yeah, this is sort of where I'm at too; I was hoping to spend more time with her, so it's disappointing that I may only see her on Sunday afternoon. On the other hand, there are scads of NY Buffistas I've never even met, and I'm psyched to hang out with everyone, Nilly or no.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

But yeah, she's out of pocket until at least 9:30 or something Saturday night.

Not able to travel, but is she able to talk and hang out indoors? Or will she be immersed in prayer or not speaking? I remember there was a lot of discussion about what actually goes on during Shabbos, but I forget how out of commission she would be as far as interacting with other people.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And Sunday afternoon activities, too.

I'll be on my way home by then. I had been under the impression that though Nilly can't travel Saturday afternoon, we would still be gathering wherever it was that she was staying. Is this not the case?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She's not out of commission at all, P-C. She's just (IIRC) not with Buffistas.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I was just about to ask about this- wasn't there quiet talking and discussion and mellow hanging out in LA (at Allyson's) and San Francisco (at deb's) and people could hang out with Nilly, just have to keep it chill and respect the rules?

This was my impression as well.

AH. Gotcha. I forgot, she has (non-Buffista) friends there.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kate, I have a feeling that my Saturday is going to be spent running around doing errands, but Buffistas are more than welcome to come over and sit on my couch watching TV while I flit in and out.

(You should be aware that anyone coming over to my apartment may be forced to watch The Apple, as I attempt to spread the Apple love far and wide.)
