Lilty is funny. Also, muy foamy. And very sweet and animated and cool and fun. Plus, she bummed me a cigarette, and that's really the quickest way for me to become enamored of a person.
Blushes.
Nora, I still regret so much not having the time to loiter and smoke a cig after dinner with you all!
Anyway, I got up far too late for such a nice day off from work. Big coffee is mine, and now I can finish my story.
Hee. It does, sometimes have that feel around here.
I was just chatting with a dog park friend about my maximum lameness when I have a car (Haven't owned one since '95 when I moved to Capital Hill, but I've got generous friends).
I go to the cemetery (dog park) and to the Costco. Other than that? Not much. When you live here, there is little need to be elsewhere.
The 'hood has clearly eaten my brain (or maybe my will). I need a Twilight Zone intervention.
Is it my imagination, or do most 'poor' parts of the average town rest in the south and east sectors?
yes, it's your imagination. there are various low income neighborhoods in north east as well.
Katerina! I love love LOVE this picture!!!
I mean, they're so happy, and pretty, and clearly enjoying each other -- it's the real version of what Gap ads try to capture.
Thanks guys! I think there's some goodies in that collection (she says modestly). I did love Teppy & Sean being cute, too.
Have I told you how much I miss you all?
That picture was taken after Brent had mooshed my head, and Karl had run to the corner store and got me ginger ale and Aleve for the killer headache that wouldn't die. Deena was dealing with some discomfort, too, and Nicole was in considerable pain from her skydiving mishap. Buffista love trumps pain.
Oooh! Thank you, Katie!! I absolutely love this pic of Deb. So much!
And, well, this pic also. For purely selfish reasons.
I'm diggin' Deb's Yoyodyne tshirt. Want.
