But have you got the Kosher sponge?
About to leave for a meeting at the radio station, then on to the Kosher Chinese place which a good friend of mine just told me is terrible. Her sources for this opinion were a pair of strangers that gave her directions recently ("go past Hunan Shalom and make a right. Do not stop and eat there ever")
Nilly drank mostly all water. I think she just about wore the Britta filter out. I didn't see her have anything else the whole time, except the wine on Shabbat.
well, oops.
Off to Brookline. will be there hella early, but will play in Coolidge Corner/Brookline Village area till dinner time.
A trip to Zabar's is always fun (regardless of dietary requirements).
I only know Zabar's from Northern Exposure. I'm so Midwestern it hurts sometimes.

Gourmet grocery, lots of kosher. Upper West Side institution.
I think we did a case study on them in a marketing class. I know the name anyhow, but are they also really good at maximizing shop space. I am pretty sure it was some famous NY Deli we studied.
Trudy, one thing you can have on hand for her? Either Ben and Jerrys or Breyers ice cream. Both are acceptable kosher and she adored them.
Have plastic cutlery and keep the ice cream ONLY for her - that way, there's no chance of unkoshering. And watching her face when dipped into Breyer's vanilla bean? Oh, my.
