Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Our wings are not tired.

Leaving in less than 12 hours. Not only have I not packed, I haven't even made my list. I did spice up my hair.

Zmayhems, I have a bunch of cables for hooking up stuff, and I planned to toss a couple extra sets in my bag. Then I thought that bundled wires would surely get me pulled to the side for a bag inspection. Do you have enough for the equipment? I can toss in some and get frisked if you think you might need them.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I think that with what we have, if you bring just one extra we'll be totally covered.

Maybe you could threadsuck and print up all my whiny despairing Tivo/VCR-related rants and just hand them over to any security person who gets shirty with you.

Hello all!

Deb (bolded since I know Deb is in whirlwind mode), Cass and I decided to take Southwest up to Oakland and rent a car for the ride back down to cut 10 hours of driving out of this week. We won't be getting to Oakland until around 1:30PM Saturday and will then need to grab bags, find car, and check into the hotel before coming to your place. That means we probably won't get there until 3ish. S'okay? Also, you know where we're staying--about 3 miles from your place--is parking going to be an issue? Should we cab it? Bus? What can we bring?

Can't wait to see everyone!

Also, hoping to do dinner or some such with LAistas on Monday night--maybe post here where we could meet up for anyone who's interested?

Herding cats for fun

Kristin, Deb's neighborhood is parkable. You may have to drive around the block a few times and search, but it's not one of the more horrendously difficult areas to find parking. If you're staying at that hotel on Stanyan, now THAT is a hard neighborhood to park in.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

We have achieved Beverly, and Ginger, and SailAweigh, and Teppy. Andrea L is here. I am boiling up first pile of water for pasta, and will feed people as they wander in.

Woot!
