How is the idea of the Halloween in Seattle looking? Because it's the weekend FFoSM comes out, and if I'm up there, I want to try and schedule a signing at the UV Barnes and Noble, or somesuch.

Friday dinner will still be on, Sean. I knew when I saw it that my living room couldn't compete with the offer of an actual bedroom. sigh We'll just have to find another way to make you wish you'd stayed in the East Bay.
SFistas--It's supposed to be in the 60s there. Is that the damp 60s? The windy 60s? I'm bringing layers with long-sleeved shirts, but I'm trying to decide if I need to find room for a jacket, bearing in mind that I usually don't add a jacket to long sleeves until it hits about 40.
Lee, is tonight still on? I'm pretty much a bust for dinner, since I'm operating on fumes here, but I hope the rest is good to go.

Right now it's a gorgeous sunny, slightly breezy 60s. (At least downtown.) However, the fog can roll in very quickly at night and the temperature could drop to 45 faster than you can say "Blue Tourist."
Bring the jacket, Ginger. If you need it, you'll be very pleased; and if not, you'll have had a good-weather SF vacation.
And don't forget to bring The Garnets.
