No wonder we call her The Empress.
Just talked to my parents about the F2F weekend (since I'll be staying there, except for Saturday night), and my mom may tag along on Saturday when we're going all the touristy stuff that locals never get around to unless there are tourist friends in town.
Fay, I’m a DC Localista, and have a free couch. I’ve emailed you at your old hotmail address, which I’m not sure still works.
It may be a little forced for prom though, we'll see.
No such thing. Remember, I’m wearing a corset and ball skirt.
And Fay, if you have Vortex's couch, I get you too. How cool is that?

No idea what I'm wearing. I suspect leather and maybe latex or lace.
I know what I'm wearing at prom. I just got a "consolation blanket" from Spring 03's BBB. It's a gorgeous oversized shawl, black on one side and scarlet silk with gold-painted designs and clear, black and scarlet bead fringe on the ends. So, my tiara and my pretty, long, full, black skirt and a shiny and/or sparky top of some sort, and I am prom-attired.

Perfect! Shiny is always in order.
Damn. I was just thinking, "You know, I'll be exhausted, maybe I should just skip this year," and then I remembered that I have four or five new dresses that I have no other excuse in sight for wearing.

Hey! You better not skip.
Hey, so now I'm thinking I'll probably fly instead of driving. Looking at flights, it seems more reasonable to arrive Friday afternoon and leave Monday morning. Anne, is there any chance that I could spend an extra night on your couch?

I have nothing to wear to the Prom. I hate shopping. This is a dilemma.
I love shopping, it causes it's own share of problems.
This reminds me, I need to go shopping for boots, shirt, and jacket to go with the leather kilt.
