CarBQ!
F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
A black car with a Bat-Poacher. Aren't you listening?
I'm listening to Katie Melua, as it happens. Her life is like a slow train crawling up a hill, no word on whether you could fry an egg on it.
CarBQ!
Har-BQ.
SF caveat -- we do get the occasional freak moment of heat, which is why layers are your friend. An ensemble involving a coat or fairly sturdy jacket, a sweater, and a t-shirt or tank should take you comfortably through just about all our weird little microclimates.
Her life is like a slow train crawling up a hill, no word on whether you could fry an egg on it.
Does she reflect heat or absorb it?
Does she reflect heat or absorb it?
She manages to radiate a fair bit of it, but I don't know whether it's from internal combustion or not.
My spring fears, after a long hot spell, about a hot, hot summer and horrible fire conditions have been put off by the incredibly cool summer we're having. I live in Marin, and I'm using the same number of blankets and same comforter that I use in the winter. Be sure to bring a jacket, folks, plus socks and closed-toe shoes (warm ankles = comfortable when it's cold out.) You can always tell the tourists because they are wearing shorts (HAHAHA!) in the City.
So about the t-shirts? I checked out the costs to do tie dyed shirts and it would run roughly $15 per. Someone else would have to do a logo that I could take to a CopyMat to have printed as an iron-on decal. I'm game to do the Telegraph Ave t-shirt buying and ironing-on of decals. Hadn't considered mailing costs. [link] I was thinking of the grackle, phoenix, macaw and parakeet colors; I think they are easily obtainable on Telegraph.
I know Cafe Press is easy but the sizes are tiny and the colors don't compare. Thoughts?
Java, before I forget, remember the iron-on has to be backwards so it comes out correctly on the t-shirt. It took us a while to figure out how to make the word processing program do that.
JZ! is our mutual friend the storyteller at the Ren Faire in Novato, do you know? (hmm, I suppose I could try google, but she's right there...)
Java, he is, but only on some weekends (the website doesn't specify which, though).
That site does look like a great t-shirt source. How would the shirt-ordering and getting work? Would you, or we, or some team of shirt people, be getting the iron-ons, taking orders from Buffistas, and shipping them out? Just sending people the iron-ons? Giving the design to the shirt shop and letting Buffistas contact the shop directly for ordering?
It should be noted, because Cafepress just is so damned easy and shipping-hassle-free, that CP has at least somewhat improved its selection of shirts and explanation of sizing. Still looks not as nice as the shirts you found, but much better than we've had for F2Fs past.
