A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That is positively adorable.

It was. And yet? Baffling! Is it common for people to down Jelly Babies before bedtime?

Hil forgot the mention Kristin's mom's breakfast spread. There were three separate stations set up in the kitchen, waiting for us in the morning. One with bread and jams; one with cereals and instant oatmeal packets, along with three bowls and spoons; and one with coffee and hot water and a wide assortment of teas, along with three mugs and spoons.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

This is the kind of hostess I want the opportunity to be some day.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Also in the breakfast spread, by the coffee and hot water, was cream and sugar, with the creamer on ice, two kinds of honey, and cactus nectar. Plus a note letting us know that milk and juice were in the fridge.

I think Kristin's mom treated us extra-special because she was a math teacher and she was hosting two actuaries and a math grad student.

Not at all shocked or surprised that Kristin's mom is extra-special.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You chose Dallas rather than Nummymuffincocoolbutter, Trudy?
