Aw Erin, don't worry about it. I'm a point person out of the city I'm pimping. -t has pretty much taken over all the work. I think I should be down there more often to help out. Perhaps we could sample the resturaunts and try out some of the bars.
Gee, you're point for NO, right? I'm thinking I should take my pneumatic ass (that's my phrase for today) down there with you, and accompany you on your tour of restaurants and bars -- just to make sure you report accurately, you undestand?
It'll be hard work, but I'll take that bullet for the Good of the Buffistae.
Oooh. Heather and Erin happy fun trip to NO! Sounds good.
Do you know I've only ever me one buffista? And I'm rarely ever in threads he's in- though that may change with Book Club.
Oh, Heather, I have worked SO hard. I have sent
several
e-mails and returned one phone call. Tonight I will go out and check out a vodka bar. You absolutely need to come down and lighten the load.
t /sarcastic whining
(Actually, that tag should close one sentence earlier...)
Oooh. Heather and Erin happy fun trip to NO! Sounds good.
dude, it's MARKET RESEARCH for our FREELANCE EVENT PLANNING CONSULTING AGENCY and we can get a TAX WRITE OFF.
It's not fun. It's work. (Remember that when we're audited.)
Ah, but that's several e-mails and one phone call more than I've done. I will make it down there, hopefully before Mardi Gras.
Remember that I'm only about six and a half hours from New Orleans as well. If there's something that absolutely has to be done in person, I can fill in on a weekend or Monday.
Ok. If the F2F is elsewhere, I'd still like to think about some of us getting together down there for a mini-F2F.
Perhaps for Jazz Fest? Or Southern Decadence?
What's Southern Decadence?
