F2F 2005 question:
Who will sign the contract with the hotel once all decisions have been made?
Convention and Visitors Bureau wants to know.
The point person of the city chosen?
I think what they want to know is who will be responsible. I can do it if the contract can be sent here, or alternatively -t if you don't mind doing it you can.
Either the local person will sign the contract, or I will.
Heh. Imagining the conversation with the bureau now.
Mr. Bureau-guy: Who will be signing the contract?
-t: Heather Alayne
Mr. Bureau-guy: Ms. Alayne?
-t: No that's her middle name I think. I don't know her last name.
Mr. Bureau-guy: How bout someone else then?
-t: I can do it.
Mr. Bureau-guy: And your name is?
-t: -t
Mr. Bureau-guy:?
-t: Or NoiseDesign
Mr. Bureau-guy: !?!?!?
I know you all have real names. It just makes me laugh.

Back in the day, there was a Buffista whose user name was Dr. Satan. Imagine HIM at the convention & visitors' bureau....
I do remember him. Though this is NO's bureau so that might not have even gotten a raised eyebrow Ms. L.

Very good buddy, who pinged me about two weeks ago. Real name Tim, professor of business, now teaching at university in New England, artist wife, got the name Dr. Satan from a local band he knew, used Buffy as part of his courses. VERY sweet guy.
VERY sweet guy.
Seconded. He showed up at one of the early Somervillain F2F's (I think at Theo's house).
Hey, it's not as if there aren't any Rob Zombie devotees in hotel management...
