Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Hopefully I will get to see Nilly on one of her East Coast stops. If she's in D.C. before I leave, or if she's in Boston when I'm there, that would be great.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

will take the same flight to arrive with her in SF.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Though I may be in LA soon anyway. Maybe.

Hee.

Um.....

NO!!!!

(on both the Deena part and the Laura part)

Our wings are not tired.

Lee, Brendon actually suggested that I fly to LA and drive up with you. Much as I love you, the notion of flying coast to coast, followed by driving for several hours up the coast made my back hurt!

I am working on getting my seat assignment switched to be next to Deena. Right now I am in the next row. The way I figure it Deena and I will be able to charm whoever is seated next to her into switching with me. Whee!

As far as the next biggee F2F goes, I voted NP because whatever is decided works for me. I love reading the pimpage though.

I'm probably going to fly up, in any case, Laura, to increase the amount of Buffista time I get.

eta Unless some Laista feel like sharing the driving with me, and don't mind going Friday to Sunday, which might be doable too.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

And that I'd need a crawlspace to sleep in.

Sparky has the cat-free place, as I recall, which makes it your best option for breathing.

Sorry - freaked about my sister. Will have my brain back in a bit.

Any news on Alice?

They're watching her for something called "critical bleeding". Major damage done to both legs, she's at hospital. I'm calm because I trust my unflappable Brit BIL (also a Nicholas), and he's promised to let me know if anything happens one way or the other.

It was very heart-shaking to have him ask me how to get "all that blood" out of the carpet, because it would be the sort of thing Alice would be obsessing about.

Jesus. Sorry. Not as calm as I thought.

Timelies. I have a brand new roommate (a friend of many year's acquaintence) who has been my roommate all of 2 nights. As we went over the biz side of the arrangement last night, I inquired about the possibility of her maybe letting me use her room for guests on weekends. (She is a short-weekday-only roommate.) She's totally fine with it! YAY!

So, I have an extra bedroom with a queen bed (and newly-refinished floors) that I can offer. The house is in Marin, ~12-15 miles from Deb and the Zmayhem. I tend to not be around much, so a person or couple who enjoys renting a car and being given a key is ideal. I have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, but they aren't allowed in that room.

I also have a LR couch that's pretty comfortable

Akk, Deb, I obviously missed something. Sorry to go on about housing. I'm so sorry for your friend.
