Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I would totally kill like fifty people if we could find a way to let Nilly play in real live actual snow.
De-lurking in F2F. I've been reading and making myself depressed because I can't join in, but now I actually have something to add!
Nilly could pop up to Juneau. We have glaciers, and helicopters that land on them. You can also hike up to snow here, but we've had a very hot summer this year (I believe 8 days over 80, a record), so it would be a full day hike for someone who's in shape, not me. Plus, I have a futon and a couch. But, alas, no other buffistas. It would probably cost about another $450 round trip to fly up from SF, plus I think about another $150 for the helicopter trip, and I would be willing to help, but it would take other money, and of course time. I know it's not practical, but, on the bright side, no one would need to be killed.
By the way, I adored the line story. It makes me think that perhaps I must go back and read everything else Nilly has written.

If you're at all a Firefly fan, you should go back through those threads and read her gushing about the show. It's a thing of beauty.
juliana, received. I'm on it later today. Woot!

stumbles in crosseyed from skimming over 600 posts, many concerning olives, which are of the yum
Concerning the Nilly tour, it looks like visits are planned in LA, SF, Boston, NYC, and DC. I have been to each of these plenty of times, except SF. So this is the most marvelous excuse to see your fair bayside city.
Flying is a time consuming, yet surprisingly inexpensive. The real question is when is most convenient for me to arrive, and what hotels are recommended, assuming all floor space is already occupied. I would be happy to share a room with someone. (I did link to the Carl Hotel which was mentioned above)
Also, insent to Deb for help in coordination. I don't know which I am more excited about, seeing SF, or Nilly! Yippee!
Oh yeah, with both Deena and Laura there, on top of everything else, I am definitely going to have to make it to SF. Sparky, I am probably going to try to hit you up for a ride from Oakland to SF on that Friday late afternoon/evening, just so you know.
Deb, could you remind me of the name of the hotel? I think Aurelia may be crashing with me, but if not, someone else can grab the spare bed.

Reserving space for Lee. Not a problem.
Hee.
Lee, it's probably The Carl Hotel Great little hotel. I've stayed there (for the very first F2F)
