Nothing in the mountains?
I'm not sure anything we could drive to in a couple of hours would still be snow-capped. At best, we'd have to drive to the Sierra Nevadas, and even there or the Rockies, I'm not sure that in August there's somewhere we could get her close enough to the snow for her to actually play with it.
I would totally kill like fifty people if we could find a way to let Nilly play in real live actual snow.
Nothing in the mountains?
Are we talking about finding snow, or people to kill?
take Nilly to Nordstrom Rack
I'm going to; we have one with a humongous shoe section, in SOMA. And I think Nilly's like a size 4.5 US.
We could take her to snow country (there's always snow somewhere up in the Gold Country), but there's not enough time during her visit. Damn.
If she's a 4.5, she's also in Naturalizer range. She could probably do quite a bit of online shoe shopping while she's here and we could ship later.
Am I the only one who wouldn't dare buy shoes without trying them on first? 9.5, high arch, high instep, wide at the front, narrow heelbox?
I wonder if she'd like a spa chair manicure/pedicure....

Yo. And for the exact same reasons.
juliana, by the by, can you send me some info, when you've got a chance, on what parts of Minneapolis would be best for hotels for the wedding? I don't need numbers or anything, I can do the research, but what parts of town?
