Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced two new concert dates on the West Coast: August 16 at San Francisco's Pacific Bell Park and August 17 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The shows are Springsteen and the Band's only stadium appearances in California scheduled for their current 2002--2003 world tour, and, along with an already announced date in Denver, CO, the tour's only West Coast concerts.
Nilly will be in LA for Broooooooce!
I still really want to come to SF, but my finances are killing me. I think I would definitely need to stay with someone, rather than in a hotel. Plus, airfare needs to come the hell down, stat.
OK, wait - let me recheck that Bruce listing. It just came, but the dates say 2002-2003.
Let me know Deb. I think that is when and where we saw him last year.
2002-2003 world tour
??? Please tell me that is a typo. I manage a set of season tickets for the Giants and get notices when they have events at Pac Bell, often including early ticket sales. I have not heard anything about this YET, but would be willing to use my "connections" for whatever the ticket max is.

July 28th is a Wednesday. Uh oh.
I think this is old news.
Why in hell it only just arrived in my mailbox, though, is a weird weird question.
Yes, we saw Bruce last year at Dodger stadium, so if that says first ever show there, it is out of date.
OK, that hjas got to be the weirdest piece of auto-send synchronicity in history.
I mean, it came direct from Bruce's Sony/Columbia website mailing list; I'm on it.
WTF?
Damn.
Want Nilly to see Brooooooce.
It looks like I'll drive Nilly up on Thursday the 19th, but I'll probably have to head back to LA on Saturday as I'm loading in Julia Sweeney's show that weekend. So I'll be in SF, but I won't be there for the whole weekend.
