F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Austin may have the same thing with hotels as NO though- graduation or no, there may still be plenty to go round. I don't know though.

Not javachik

There isn't anything definite wrt Nilly's visit yet, right? specific dates, I mean.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

No. Her appointment with the embassy for a visa permit is on 12 July; hopefully, we'll hear as soon as they issue it, and then Nilly can book her flights and plans will gel better.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So I may need to look into non-hotel accommodation for LA and possibly San Fran.

Stay with us!

Yes, Austin is a bit bigger than Lawrence. Also, are we in fact listing Austin/San Antonio as one option?

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Austin and San Antonio are about 1 hr/90 mins away from each other at the city center. I slashed them because they're that close and many of the pluses/minuses will be shared. Kind of like Baltimore/DC this year.

UT in Austin's grad weekend is the weekend of the F2F, but I think we can still find rooms-we might not get the deals we would on another weekend though. If we stay on the south side, it's more likely, I think, but we won't be able to score big deals on a downtown hotel because that's too close to campus.

UTSA (San Antonio) graduation is the next weekend, however. (These are the major colleges in each city, but there are many smaller ones I haven't tracked.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

ND -- I sent an email to your profile address on Sunday with a sooper-seekret URL containing a sample ballot. Let me know if I need to resend.

Got it, lemme look over it really quickly and give you an answer.

Looks great! Everything seems in order to me, so let's get this vote rolling. Fred Pete is who should get the voting results. We'll leave the polls open until 14th at 5 PM. That gives people just a little over a week to get their votes in.

Ann, that's a ferret.

OK, what do I do to compile?

You're going to get an email generated by each vote which will include user name and the two cities they voted for. So whatever method works for you, pen and paper, Excel, whatever you're comfy with.
