I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

No. Huh. We were thinking about going down there because Mel wanted to, glad we didn't now. What kind of concept?

Heh. Mel's cousin wanted to go to Bubba Gump's. There was much mocking.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The waitress at the Elmwood location wasn't entirely sure. There might be a bakery of some sort involved.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not sure I would blame the seating trouble on the accents or the race of the couple though- it's not like either of those things are new in NO, or at the Palace.

To be fair, once we got seated, the service got a lot better. Just took us a while to get to that point.

Mmmmmmmm. Indeed.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

They're nothing special

Except the picture of us in our matching dresses, which is gorgeousness run amok. (Yup, it's a picture of me I actually like.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've checked Amtrak, and the student fare (you are a student, yes?) is about $125 ($148 for non student),

Student tickets on Amtrak require a Student Advantage card, not just a regular student ID, and the card costs $20.

There's always the bus, which isn't as nice as the train, but leaves all the time, and is cheap.

Or a buffista who might be driving up to NYC and back, or something t /not actually offering until dates are on the table

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Maybe a possibility that Cass and I could meet you (ND and Nilly) in LA and travel up to San Fran as a caravan? We'll likely be traveling up on Thursday, which is when I think that you were planning to head up, and I'm going to pester Cass to go 101 so we can see the pretties.
Ooh, sounds interesting. And I don't require much in the way of pestering when it comes to pretties.
what's the best way to get from San Diego to LA without spending a ton of money? Is there a train?
Lee is right, Amtrak if it works. Otherwise you can ping me at my profile addy and I can give you other suggestions.
