I'm getting the pig!

I think Lawrence was going on a line with KC. But apart from that, that's the list of proposed locations.

Memphis, and Atlanta have also come up, as has Denver.

Actually, I kinda made a group decision for everyone and pulled Denver out of the running a week or so ago. A couple of lovely 'fistas are already aware that they experience altitude sickness in The Mile High City, not to mention the others that wouldn't realize it until they arrived.

Too risky.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I think NO should have House Of The Rising Sun.

ita beat me to it. But I specify, the Eric Burdon rendition.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Galveston is less than fabulous. Ghetto-fabulous, perhaps. The water is brown.

Our wings are not tired

Are there any fabulous beach towns in Texas, with reasonably priced and nice resorts on the water, and good bookstores and bars in town? And then, someone who knows something about them and can tell us about them? Wouldn't it be cool to be right on the Gulf and be able to swim in the ocean, walk on the sand, etc? [link] some of these look great. Galveston, maybe? um, swim up bars!

Eh, beach towns don't do it for me all that much. I tend to burn just thinking about the sun, so a long time in the water and stuff like that is not always fun making for me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

That's the worst pun on this board today.

Worse than Babble-onian?

I'm crushed, I tell you. Crushed.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Galveston is less than fabulous. Ghetto-fabulous, perhaps. The water is brown.

But it does have a song. Written by Jimmy Webb.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Worse than Babble-onian?

Yours had a linguistic segue. P-C reached into the pits of hell for his.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think it should have Baby got Back.

but thats my theme song! :)

(I'm listening to that All Prince Station, he's playing "Nothing Compares 2 U" AIFG!@!!) (and that comment is vaguely relevant because we're talking Minneapolis)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ohhhh, Vortex.....

Prince is planning after-show parties at his Paisley Park studios following all three of his Xcel Energy Center concerts tonight through Friday. He also is holding open houses at Paisley Park from noon to 4 p.m. today through Friday.

"I don't know how he finds the energy," his publicist, Ronnie Lippin, said.

Tickets to the midnight concerts -- said to include "special guests" -- already went on sale to members of the singer's NPG Music Club, but more will be sold at Paisley Park for $50 during the open houses.

The afternoon events are $15 and will include a merchandise sale and a chance to "hang out" in his studios. Money raised will go to Prince's Love4oneanother Charity, his representatives said. Paisley Park is located in Chanhassen at the intersection of Hwy. 5 and Audubon Rd.

I think you should come visit. Now. Yes.
