There's also the fact that some of us exist who might *not* want to spend every waking moment in group activities, and would still like to have something available to do when alone besides watch tumbleweeds blow by.
Really? You know, I never considered that.
We are, after all, an insect-like colony with no individualism whatsoever. ONE OF US! ONE OF US!!

I love that idea for the future, ND. Sounds like a gorgeous place.
For NOLA hotels, I'd highly recommend Maison St. Charles. It's not actually in the Quarter, but it's right on the streetcar line. It's pretty, and it's got a pool, and it's maybe 10 minutes from Bourbon street on the streetcar, if that. I've stayed there a few times and the service was great, and everyone I know who's stayed there has said the same thing. It's a bunch of historic buildings that were moved to the location and converted into hotel rooms. It looks like it's pretty reasonably priced, too.
That looks like a great hotel. Do you know anything about their ADA compliance and such? We need to make sure that all our peeps can get into and out of our main rooms without stairs and the like.
The only type I have been to were all inclusive.
The all inclusive Club Med I went to, you had to pay for liquor. So I was wondering if it was a redefinition.
Redefining all to mean not all? Crafty.
I wonder if it's a difference between the family clubs and the adult-only ones? Because I can see how free liquor at an all-ages resort might be legally problematic.

Not problematic in Jamaica. If they serve it, it's free. But Club Med, calling itself all-inclusive, didn't. And the staff made it sound like they weren't at the other resorts, but it's not like I'd ever go back, even for free.

I'm trying to remember. I think they have elevators to everything, but I really can't say for sure.
Make sure ADA room and access is in the RFP, and you should either be all good, or they should hire hotties to carry people wherever they need to be.
