F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Looks pretty!

Ann, that's a ferret.

The location looks hard to beat, Jessica. In the Quarter (ok, on the edge instead of in the middle). No more than one block from the streetcar. If Royal Street still has decent funky shopping, looks like a contender.

It does. I prefer the other side of the quarter away from Canal, but exactly 10 minutes of walking will get you there. We'd also be close to the Hotel Monteleone which means we could go to the Carousel Bar (which actually revolves like a carousel).

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Count me in on the ''cheaper/nicer hotel is better than a bunch of stuff to do since hanging out with y'all is my primary interest" team.

Our wings are not tired

On the resort idea (And this isn't for this year, but it's an idea I've been kicking around) I've got a contact at a great Guest Ranch in the Sierra Nevadas. We could most likely rent the entire facility. Full bar, pool, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, dance floor, pool tables, etc. etc. Around 20 cabins that each sleep up to 4, and a main lodge with hotel style rooms. Might be a good place for a future F2F. We could probably pull it off for a reasonable price and the cost would include all meals and things like that.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

As far as city goes, I personally feel like going someplace without *too* much to do would be ideal. I hated being torn between "Wanna hang with the 'istas" and "Must...see...monuments...Must...go to...museums...enrich...self..."

I don't want enrichment or enlightenment. I wanna have fun.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

New Orleans isn't terribly enriching, to be honest.

I'm just saying, it's not the first adjective that would come to mind.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't want enrichment or enlightenment. I wanna have fun.

Got news for ya babe. At the next F2F, you're only going to have so much fun as my breasts allow. As your CHILD will be attached to them.

That's true - it's all about fun enhancement. Eating drinking and music.
