'Why We Fight'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I may be alone in thinking that at that size they start to look kind of cuddly.

Realizing that it's a phobia, and therefore irrantional, I still have to come down on the side of spiders should not be big enough to eat birds.

I consider the existance of such a creature proof positive that when Mother Nature gets PMS, she gets it baaaaaaaaaaaaad.

I spent about $15 at the bar, including tips.

Not javachik

Well, I'm getting some work done but it's BORING compared to corsets, cicadas, boobage, drinkage and all things Buffista.

It only needs to be dealt with if someone's credit card gets charged. Otherwise, no worries.

Vortex is wise. No charges on the F2F account! I am still waiting to talk to the accounting people - just an inquiry, no issues or anything - and my separate inquiry on how much for the bev costs was so I can update the RFP. So huh, though, that's a trip about the costs. I'll end up talking to the catering person again so will skirt the issue and see what she says.

I skipped lunch and had a piece of someone's birthday chocolate raspberry cake about 10 minutes ago instead. My tissues feel like they are vibrating much much faster than they were before cakeage. Yikes. Maybe milk will help calm down? if I can find some.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Oh, cool - I thought the credit card was being charged because they were claiming we we hadn't met some sort of minimum. That's how the initial post read.

When a fucking spider is too damned big to climb out of a sink, said spider is too big. Gah.

They are not - repeat, not - cuddly. They are carnivorous, predatory, and hunt birds, and eat them.

They're insects (edit: or not - are arachnids insects? Do I care? They're bugs, damnit!), and they hunt and eat birds.

Like I say, I try not to kill anything that isn't immediately threatening me, but if one of those gets loose around me, I'm beating it to death. Period.

I *know* you don't care, but no. Arachnids are not insects.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, he was doing pretty well on tips. I tossed a buck in the tip jar for every drink I had.

Heh. Sean, that's why I edited. I know they aren't insects.

In my eyes, however? They're BUGS.

And bugs do not eat birds. That's backassward.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Gah! Gah! Not cuddly! Gah! Must die a firey death, far away from me! Gah!

I think I spent about $25 at the bar.

Maybe that's the number for how far above the minimum we went?

That sounds more like it.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

There are spiders that can eat BIRDS?

That's just wrong. Things with exoskeletons shouldn't be able to devour things with endoskeletons (is that a word?). It's against Nature and violates the Circle of Life. Wrong like a wrong thing.

(And now watch billytea cite a dozen examples where it happens.)

endoskeletons (is that a word?)

Yes.
